My Opinion.

As I take a look at the time line under history, it makes me think about the past of these mammath mechanical rides. If you take a look at it, after the first coaster was really created there were TONS to follow. And this almost looks like a competition between different designers, states or countries to have the biggest, baddest and meanest one of them all. Then, whom ever has that one special roller coaster also makes the most money because of the attraction. This is really a result of the increasing desire for thrill. You can tell that America, and other countries love these things even though there not always safe! Also, another reason to believe thats it's like a competition is exactly that, there a huge money maker, which is all people want and even if its not the absolute best one, your always going to make money off the attraction.
